About Me

I’m a first gen college student, engineer, and volunteer passionate about using math and engineering to make a positive impact. I’m currently studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics at the University of Central Florida. I started programming at age 11 with Objective-C and Python, and later earned an Associate of Arts in Finance and Engineering at Indian River State College. Accepted to both UF and UCF, I chose to become a Knight (Go Knights!), I deepened my knowledge of math and financial markets in my early college years before pivoting to Computer Engineering with guidance from Kris Sidal at Ambrus Group and Agustin Lebron who was a researcher and trader at Jane Street. In Uni, I'm currently interested in using neural networks (LSTMs, CNNs) to predict volatility more accurately than GARCH models as an undergraduate researcher. Outside of academics, I enjoy chess, cooking, and running with my uni’s track club.

My Journey

Age 11 - Early Start

Began iOS development, diving deep into device security and jailbreaking.

Age 13 - First App

Built my first iOS game in Objective-C featuring Nickelodeon's Blue Puppy, a rocket adventure game.

College Years - The Pivot

Started in Finance, switched to Engineering for more mathematical rigor.

Present - Current Focus

Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and Mathematics at the University of Central Florida (UCF), I am actively engaged in research projects focused on machine learning and hardware accleration. My primary objective is to attend Stanford University and pursue a Master of Science in Computer Engineering.
